1. The king should think of his behaviour.His own children doesn’t want to live with him, neither respect him not even love him as a father. Well, till now every episode is so so good.Completely different from the normal CDrama. The love and touchy touchy .. Very practical ML and FL.They are enjoying their present moments👍. King till now not a bit of sympathy or empathy towards him, as he is selfish and self centered king as people in power are… Who so ever wrote the novel, has a very good state of mind.

5. Oh thank God, for a frightening moment there I thought he had blinded the poor boy. (Continuity people take note there wasn’t even a mark on his head when the Hua’s were returning home, lol) This emperor is never going to learn 🤦🏽‍♀️. This cruel nature of his is part of the problem. That poor boy is terrified of him at that age, imagine growing to adulthood in the palace like that and this is why his sons can never love him or see him as a father. If he gets to old age he will die alone. I am sad for him.

6. This could end here with this episode knowing the exiled men would return eventually with Hua’s efforts.

   Should the wine really be poisoned, wouldn’t Yan Xi be affected through the cut in his hand ?

   11 years old Fu Bo Han aka A Jia/6th prince did an amazing job. A faithful addition to the family.

9. It might just be me, but I’m starting to notice a few inconsistencies as the story progresses. Like the Emperor is wearing his crown when he went to the restaurant. Not very undercover.

   Mr. Bai is my SML at this point. LOL! I’m not even sorry ShenQi.

   Yanxi’s real reward: “could you just let the Hua men come back?”
   Emperor: “okay”

10. all this hatred is caused by the emperor only..if he was good to his family and people the country would flourish! he had his son’s hate and hide from him and now one came to the level to get rid of him…so much hatred as he said he would rather be born a worm rather than in a royal family! this man couldnt spare a kid also has to be so brutal..i thought he is going to blind him but he made a ugly scar that he wouldnt come to fight for the throne later same thing he did for YZ

11. Airing schedule for next week has been released. 2 episode on Monday and Tuesday, 1 episode on Wednesday and Thursday.
    Don’t know when and if they will release EXPRESS for the remaining episodes.

12. End of episode thoughts:

    Every time I muster up a tiny bit of empathy for the emperor, he goes and does something to remind me he deserves all the hate and violence he gets.

    And I’m irritated at YanXi too cause why bring that man to that restaurant knowing how he is?! Idc how well-intentioned someone may be, if they’re causing pain to another person, they’re wrong.
