  1. i like how there are no unnecessary misunderstandings, like her not knowing who saved her or him believing the words she said on the beach for Mofang (“if we meet again in battle, i will kill you”) were meant for him…I really hate when dramas drag misunderstandings for a long time over several episodes and I’m so glad it’s not case here.
    They already don’t have a lot of time to spend together so let them enjoy as much as they can. He will probably find out soon that she knows who he is, since he can hear her thoughts. I hope we can see some sweet moments between them then.

  4. as expected, mofang saved shenli from prison… mofang knew his father did evil things in the past and he still wants to free him? he even killed his comrade to cover up his identity…

    glad that shenli has already known it’s xingzhi takes care of her 😄.. now ít will be shenli’s turn to tease xingzhi 😄 .. can’t wait to see how xingzhi will propose shenli?…

  6. Location scenes versus studio setting!
    In this episode location won! Had me thinking wish I was the one there rescuing Shen Li. 😍
    Mofang, you tried….a little too much but oh so late!

    Xing Zhi and Shen Li getting their romance on….pain? what pain?…heartache? what heartache!
    Xing Zhi’s disguise = hilarious😅😂🤣
    perfect fishman costume🌟
    I hope Mofang rescued the Prince….he was shocked when the Prince popped up…😲
    I will dub this episode, the calm before the storm.

  9. I have to take a moment to say this, but the cinematography in the series is continually breaktaking. I can’t tell you how many times scenes like the above just comes along and have me going:”Damn that is beautiful,” or simply wow. I am one of those who rarely notice the background, but I am find in this, the background is almost like part of the story. There are so many moments when the cinematography and CGI stunned me….when her and the phoenix bird light up the sky and sea below, just about every fight scene and the freezing of the sea are just a few.
    I really didn’t go into this series expecting much, but so far I am getting great acting, a good story and some beautiful scenes.

  10. I like this episode but there is one situation that I find comical. XZ waking up 3 months later from coma. Next day he sips his tea and smells the blood. I was looking for you these three months Shen Li :D.

  11. THESE were pleasant 25 and 26 episodes to watch. Packed with excellent monologues. Shen Li described him perfectly although without her senses…what a script. I like this style of old slow scenes rich of all human elements. This pacing reminds me of the 2001 film The Vertical Ray Of The Sun a piece of arts. This 26th episode is also a piece of arts in all aspects.

    Is this OST similar to ALP ?

  13. her hatred for Mofeng and the words she tells is so clear! there is no going back for them when they are born enemies and now he has led to kill so many of her people and her trust broken!! glad atleast he got her out of that torture and XZ taking care of her! so painful in retrieving those nails! she has endured so much as a woman! indeed a great warrior and a good soul! lol XZ changing his voice and appearance for her ! if he knows that she saw him earlier it would be so fun!

  14. Gosh wt i would do after this show ends??? After waiting fr years v finally get to see pa reunion. They both play such roles so well. This man really convince me that he z a divine creature. He does look like one n the immense chemistry bw them 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻…. I wann see more romance bw them. Watching them makes me so happy. Chinese r soo good at cinematography n graphics.

  15. Shen Li’s reasoning is so good. Her logic when Mofang saved her, was the perfect reaction. Merit of saving her but he still betrayed her, destroyed her realm and made her people suffer.
    And Zhao liying is an amazing actress. The part where Shen li woke up after the nails were taken out was done amazing. She still looked weak, but happy and safe to survive and be with her love. I also like how Xingzin didn’t just sit by her bedside the whole time she was passed out. It must be heartbreaking to see someone so strong in a terribly weakened state. And keeping a regular route helps with big emotions. Also, of course we need our signature courtyard style.
    This show just makes me happy.
    Even the timeline is logical. And they explain everything (Shen li letting us know why Xingzin is using a disguise) which is really nice cause I didn’t even guess that when I saw the teaser.
