The Day (2023)

Kim Myung Joon is a poor man with a sick daughter in need of medical attention. Desperate for money, he agrees to an ex-wife’s suggestion to kidnap a child with wealthy parents. In the process, he accidentally hits the victim, Choi Ro Hee, resulting in her having amnesia. Posing as her father, Kim Myung Joon takes Choi Ro Hee to his home. When he attempts to call Choi Ro Hee’s parents for ransom money, there is no response. Investigating further, Kim Myung Joon is shocked to find the parents have been murdered. As Choi Ro Hee regains her memory, she discovers Kim Myung Joon’s lies and his true intentions.
