1. it ended as we expected but was a pleasant drama. URi and SJ started a cute family, HS had his son and Mari had newfound happiness, Crazy, wide eyed NY finally began her journey in repentance (as did HJT) and uncle FINALLY got married! Our Romeo and Juliet couple was forgiven and accepted,too. As for the stepmom and father, we’ll just let them be as they are.

   A nice drama that I’d rate a solid B so I am content

   – But I still wonder where NY got all that money to do her apartment, clothes, etc, to trap HS😄

3. Well another drama down. All those getting married, got married. Those getting divorced, got divorced. Parentless children got adopted. And everyone that needed forgiveness, got forgiven. It was a slugged getting through parts of this but it was fun getting through it with you all. See you in the next one.

4. So NY just rides off into the sunset, still don’t know who her bio father is? Don’t know who DR father is as well. Too bad NY didn’t understand all her wrongs until the end. I will stay away from any drama that has the same writers of this drama, they need to go back to school and study how tie things together and make sense.

5. SU JI & U RI is indeed a heartwarming family drama. Although it has its fair share of flaws, I have enjoyed watching it very much. From Day One of my watching Korean drama, I have always loved the family genre dramas. The last episode of family Korean dramas have always touched me warmly and made me smile but also sad that it has come to an end.

   More importantly, I will cherish these couple of months that we spent ranting, sighing and exchanging our thoughts about this drama.

6. I feel like I was just released from prison! This is such a relief.

   Thank you all for being my partners in this journey through hell, it was great hating on NY with all of you. I wish her mom was also kicked out along with HJT and NY, but at this point I’ll take what I can get.

7. SPOILER ALERT
   (Last episode)

   Uncle makes them all restless… When U Ri is about to look for him, Uncle comes. They are all immediately relieved. Uncle apologizes, Auntie is angry. Uncle gives a bouquet of flowers that he picked himself.
   When Uncle prepares himself, he shows off the handkerchief gift from CSY.
   U Ri sincerely congratulates him. Uncle says thank you.

   The wedding party is held at a Resto. Ma Ri, JJS, Grandma and Stepmom are present. They all congratulate them and hope they live happily. The children say a few words to them. And it ends with the display of the wedding photo poster. They all look happy.

   1 YEAR LATER…
   U Ri and HHS are overwhelmed to stop their crying baby. They are relieved when MA Ri and Su Ji arrive. U Ri and HHS are confused when their baby stops crying…

   Ji Woo can finally smile. She can interact with other people again. She holds Su Ji’s finger. Su Ji invites JW to go. Nun is very relieved and happy, she follows Su Ji and JW.

   They are all happy and congratulate the Chief who was promoted.

   Su Ji meets U Ri. Su Ji and U Ri decide to adopt JW.
   They tell their plan to Ma Ri, Ma Ri asks for time to think about their plan.

   Uncle and CSY are shocked when A Ra says she has a boyfriend… LOL. Uncle is upset and jealous because A Ra didn’t answer his question, whether A Ra likes him or her boyfriend more.
   Auntie is upset because they cancelled their visit to the resto and celebrated at Bibi Roll.

   JJS, Grandma and Stepmom come home tired. They praise Doo Ri. Stepmom asks them not to worry about JNY.

   JNY meets HJT in the village. HJT apologizes sincerely to JNY. JNY hopes HJT takes care of his health. HJT hopes JNY will live a better life.

   They welcome Su Ji, U Ri, the baby and JW. U Ri is confused because JW agreed to come with A Ra. Su Ji and U Ri tell them about their decision.
   They are all shocked when A Ra and JW come because JW is going to say something to Su Ji.
   They were all stunned when JW said “mom” to Su Ji…. Su Ji was immediately moved and hugged JW. They were all touched.

   JDY came, they were ready to take a family photo.
   Before they did that. Ma Ri came with HHS and his son. They agreed to take a photo together.
   JJS, Grandma and Stepmom also came.
   In the end they all took a photo together….

   Su Ji and U Ri visited the location where Su Ji proposed to U Ri. U Ri said at that time he wanted to say yes… Su Ji protested… U Ri said he should be the one to propose to Su Ji…
   JW came running and called them “mom” and “dad”… U Ri immediately carried JW.
   The four of them looked very happy while enjoying their togetherness.

   THE END

10. Well, when all is said and done, I have to admit I enjoyed this tv series, even if there were some episodes where enjoyed the comments more. I also want to add, now that JNY is k-drama history, that I want to see Kang Byeol in a non-villain role next time.
