Synopsis: “At Eighteen” follows the story of transfer student Jun Woo, who is haunted by a traumatic past of bullying and has no interest in school. On his first day, he is greeted warmly by popular class president Hui Yeong, but rejects his kindness due to feeling intimidated by Hui Yeong’s influence. When an incident occurs and Jun Woo is falsely accused of stealing, Hui Yeong uses his popularity to fuel the rumor. However, quiet and observant Soo Bin sees a different side of Jun Woo, noticing his cute and innocent traits. As Soo Bin and Jun Woo grow closer, their relationship brings out a softer side of Jun Woo and he starts to break out of his shell. As the seasons pass, will these youths also undergo a transformation and discover the innocence of first love? Directed by Shim Na Yeon, “At Eighteen” explores the complexities of being an 18-year-old caught between immaturity and innocence.
