1. So after watching it again…
   I’m just trying to understand what’s going on…

   Anyways Choi’s bodyguard just helped them to escape cause he wants to prevent them being seen together (according to her father’s order) but still it manage to buy them time to escape only to be captured again in the morning–like what the heck?? they should’ve left early in the morning— or is it to show some romance or whatever?? Let’s just let it be…🙄

   Maybe the FL have some kinda crush on the CP aside from those guilt she has and others 🤭🤣

   Now for Mr. Choi i still don’t get what he is fighting for–QD once said lets just go and leave everything all i need is you but then Choi refused–
   Is there some blood relative the previous king left in the royal family for him to take revenge against them? And he is soo adamant about it— taking power and everything…
   Or is it his goal all along? To gain power and authority? Even with their “love” story in the past is it even real? or even then he is planning to use the young QD?– THings just makes me doubt everything about him🤔

2. I don’t like queen dowager character, one day she’s a cold witch, next day she’s a poor lamb, I know some characters are complex and some villains are not totally villain, but I feel like it doesn’t work here. I fast-forwarded all their sad story because it was getting long and annoying. I don’t think it’s the actors fault, maybe the editing, the pace, how it’s directed but I have hard time with that story.

It’s a 20 episodes drama so I guess that unnecessarily long and detailed flashback of the Queen Dowager and Choi Sang Rok is kinda acceptable…for the sake of stretching…and let’s say now we know the reason of their revenge… though this revenge is not for that crazy King anymore coz he’s dead… instead they’re pointing it to the now royal family… wasn’t them who crowned them? Who killed her son? Is that now the reason for this revenge? Coz maybe a faction killed her son and to install the now royal family?
   So the that crazy former King was the current King’s brother? The Queen Dowager became a regent because she was Queen…I thought she was a Grandmother Queen Dowager (whom we usually see)…so that’s why even the King calls her “Dae-bi-mama” (Queen Dowager) and not Omma-mama (Mother Queen)… she’s his sister-in-law.
   That former crazy King lusting on Soo Ryeon even though they told him she’s engaged…even showing Choi Sang Rok that…argh! that was so unnecessary, they should’ve just stayed with the shadows.

   How many times are they gonna get caught? Well at least now it’s progressingnow that Myung Yoon knows he’s the Crown Prince…and from the preview, she’s also revealing her real identity…ok we can now all move forward.

   I really like how solid the royal family is. They all stand for each other…the antics Prince Dosung is doing just to make sure he won’t be a Crown Prince…they really lost all respect for the Queen Dowager… she’s pitiful yes, but also not coz she did it herself… it’s pathetic how she’s being used by her lover…the disgust of the King, Queen, Crown Prince and Prince Dosung towards her is weighing on her, she now feels guilty.

   Prince Dosung… that’s all an act right? All the things he’s doing is his way of buying time for his Hyungnim to come back right? But the people around him are sooooo ambitious… I’m afraid he won’t have much time but give in to what they want.

4. the queen dowger is a good person but i think she lets everyone to manipulate her for her own happiness… if they truely love eachother, she could have asked to become a commoner and leave the palace to live a simpler life, im sure the king and prince would have understood it and let her do that, if she didnt do evil things… espicilly since she was forced to marry an old geezer of a king

5. Some long term pain might have been avoided had the Empress Dowager blurted out in front of everyone that she couldn’t marry the King because she had slept with her fiance.

6. Even tho it hurts my heart what that EVIL NO GOOD king did…………..it still does NOT JUSTIFY what the QD & Choi are doing now!
   This was ALL Chois FAULT bcs he was warned & also he had many many YEARS TO MARRY HER but he DIDNT.

   They, OF ALL PEOPLE, should know the HURT OF BETRAYAL, GREED & MURDER OF ONES FAMILY MEMBERS just so YOU can get what YOU want. IMO, this makes them just as EVIL & NO GOOD as the previous king bcs they are doing the EXACT SAME THING HE DID TO THEM!!!

   BTW……….. I think this is ALL Choi’s doing, HE wants POWER, HE wants to be ON TOP OF EVERYONE, NOT so much the QD.
   I think hes doing all this to prove a point that NOW he can NEVER be treated like that again bcs HE HAS THE LAST SAY as he is NOT powerless like he was back then

7. They will arrest him again next episode? For 7-8 time. I hope his supporters and his grandpa prepared things already. I mean they made connection the army in the training center. Who will have the army on his side will win. So if he return with the army in the capital will be game over. Don’t tell me she will free him again on the road back. But he knew they will search for him at his grandpa residence. I think The CP have the seals with him, they give him the power, with them he can use the army.

8. Even if shit happened in the past, the old king was definitely at fault, I don’t understand why queen dowager have to do all this shit along with Choi. She is in a high position, she could have said she would like to live her life in seclusion outside of the palace and lived with whoever she wanted. Like why she have to keep the whole political power in her hands and continue to kill people, from her emotional torment it seems she isn’t very keen on getting revenge for what happened in the past, she knows well no one of the now king’s family is the reason of her past torment. It also seems she dosen’t hate the royal family that much either.

10. Now, they both know their real identities at least the crown prince will know in the next episode. It seems that they will part their ways in the next episode as well.

    Back to Mr Choi, somehow, we now know why he became the way he is judging by his back story with QD

11. ahhh the eyes and brows of the one helping them in the begining look like it was the guy from FL family, the one whos her half brother, and that she doesnt allowed to call him oraboeni… i rly hope hes a good guy
