Synopsis: “Iwakura Mai is a shy and withdrawn girl living with her parents and older brother in the craftsmen district of Higashi Osaka. Her father runs a small factory, while her mother takes care of the household. However, Mai’s life changes when she visits her grandmother Shoko on Nagasaki’s Goto Islands, known for its rich natural environment. She becomes captivated by the Baramon kites that soar high in the sky and develops a dream to become a pilot. Despite her hard work, the path to achieving her dream proves to be more challenging than she expected. As she forms strong connections with the people in both her hometowns, her dream evolves into a new form. With the help of her enthusiastic friends, she sets out to build a small electric plane that can fly to and from the islands.
