Synopsis: “Shinsengumi” follows the journey of two young soldiers, Fukakusa Kyujuro and Kamagiri Daisaku, in the fictional Shinsengumi army. After losing his father, Okajuro joins the Shinsengumi to seek vengeance and improve his sword skills. During the entrance exam, he meets Daisaku, a talented newcomer with impressive swordsmanship. Despite their strong friendship, they are ultimately bound by the times and are forced to face each other in a deadly battle. Adapted from the manga by Tezuka Osamu, “Shinsengumi” consists of 10 episodes with a runtime of 30 minutes each and airs on Thursdays.
