  1. It would be great if the fierce Beimo general works with Mai to overthrow and or kill the Beimo Marshall and then it becomes a battle between them OR the Beimo general defects cause he falls for Mai. 😂 Not sure how it would end but I would be here for the ride.

Also yes, I have read too many romance novels, and yes I have also watched too many romance shows and yes, I am also a writer….what of it. 😂😂

  2. I’m GLAD that old man scolded her.
Everyone was busy praising Mai when she sabotaged her own plan due to selfish rage. I was just thinking, how many lives were unnecessarily lost bc she blindly charged in like that. The battle could have ended much sooner if she had just stayed still. She jeopardized the safety of her troop, made her bestie Lieutenant Tang’s job way harder, and made her lover THE GENERAL enter battle to save her…and if he dies the whole thing is a rap).

But after doing getting herself injured on her own, the general is sending for the doctor for her knee injury while there were soldiers outside with mortal injuries, many that were HER fault. And everyone is praising her efforts either not realizing or ignoring that she threw sh*t at the fan.

So I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad that old man put the pressure on her. He was also right to be wary of her when she left the base without permission. While she did find the enemy base, Tang is a decorated and dedicated soldier. It might’ve taken him a bit longer but he’s not the type to return with nothing. Her presence wasnt necessary. Her one track mind and lack respect for command is a disaster waiting to happen. Im glad he waited until he had leverage to threaten her into submission too bc I have a feeling without the threat behind the advice, she would continue on with her selfish vendetta. She still might but at least she knows there is someone watching her.

Sorry I had to rant lol. I start to lose interest when the MC is becoming a villain and drama continues framing them as heroic. So Im happy they saved it.

  3. Chen Qi is deluding himself about Mai. I guess that there is more to his story than has been revealed. Did he sacrifice her parents to save her that night?
