  1. I like how the romance doesn’t interfere with the main story, but it adds to it. Je-hoon and Eunsoo have such good chemistry with each other.

  2. I feel so bad for the babies and the children at the orphanage, I’m glad they helped them.
I love Officer Kim, he might be my favorite character, his backstory was really sad and I loved how he comforted that kid and didn’t pressure him into telling him about the babies.

I really like Gyeong-Hwan and Ho-Jeong they’re so fun to see together lmao.

The superintendent is so annoying and corrupt, him and the rest of the police officers I need them to suffer too. every time they appear on screen I have to prepare myself mentally because I know I’ll get pissed.

Anyway, I loved this episode and the romance is so cutee.

  3. So far, I’m enjoying the episodes. It’s strange that this series takes place in the past. It’s doing a good job of bringing to life Seoul in 1950s. It’s not GREAT, but I’m watching it for the male lead! 🙂

  4. the moment he gave the shoes to Sung chil, I knew he’ll die, and his fight with the thugs in the market just stamped the fact….poor guy 😔😔 he had just started LIVING…..

  5. I like this drama. Cases are pretty interesting. But more than what intrigues me is the setting of drama. Not many dramas are set in the 1950s.

But there is one thing that’s missing. This drama lacks a good antagonist. Cases are getting over in one episode. This means there is little time for any character to develop.
What they need is a long term villain who can torment Young Han and his team.

  6. The corruption is really really appalling here, especially with all the justice forces being the root of it. The police??? Literally everyone is corrupt, except their team.
Damn man, the history is really dark.
This is one of the reasons why I avoid historical dramas. I am kinda glad I was born in this age. Its not the best, far from it actually, but a lot better.

  7. Dude, poor guy is living with nightmares of what he’d seen in the war, of what he was almost forced to do. I’m not sure what he’ll do next episode. I’m glad they were able to finish this case well, I was fearing this villain would last more than the others and the main characters would be expelled from the police, at least for a while. I feel death was too good of a fate for that monster though.

About next episode’s preview, I’m guessing he’ll either tell the gangster to f*** off and wait to be arrested or he’ll pretend to join him for a while and then arrest him. Poor Sung-Chil, R.I.P.
