THIS IS SO THRILLING !!!!
*Throws book across the bed and rolls over onto stomach leaning on her elbows and kicking her feet in the air.*
So we grabbing popcorn and chilling here then fam?
I am locked in and loaded for this series. I’m really liking the cinematography. The ending was
Like y’all not afraid to be caught in that bar as actors.
Huh!? This one reminds me of BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen (2023).
Honestly, I didn’t get Yuki’s attitude, especially for a graduate from the school of performance. I get that he’s not experienced in a bl role. Thus, his behavior during the script reading lacks determination which I consider unprofessional to his seniors and he did not apologize to them.
I think this needs the character’s inner dialog instead of leaving me wondering what or how he will respond or react to other characters. I mean one moment he was talking to his manager and without knowing, the next scene shows him secretly entering a gay bar. I had no idea till he told his co-star his reason for being there.
I may need a few more episodes to get used to this style of production.
Why they have to be this complicated the Japanese? Why they give us complicated awkward characters all the time? Or most of the time? 😁
But well, this is kinda cute. Need to see one more ep to decide if it’s really good or not?
SPOILER… Another JBL has arrived❣️ It did not disappoint. This has more maturity and quality written all over it.🥳🙌 We have two MLs, both actors. Asami is the superstar, was 2 university yrs older than Yuki, the rookie. They knew each other at university but never spoke then, only Asami remembered they did. I have a feeling that encounter was secretly memorable for him bc when Asami said, PHEW!🥵 And the lingering look that followed was definitely saying something to the rookie😍 I wonder if Asami is the reason why Yuki got the role bc his performance at the audition didn’t overwhelm me and neither did his answer about having nothing in common with the character he was going to play, until the second scene talking about his connection to the character🤔… Yuki, definitely was so shy and awkward his first day🥴 He looked understandably overwhelmed by the situation and like a true novice, inexperienced among all those seniors. He clearly felt inadequate and insecure. I wanted to hold his hand through that😔
The ending … method acting here we go!😅
I liked the gritty vibe and interesting camera angles and lighting at the end, the overall cinematography, showing a shift from Yuki, to the character he’s going to play, as to tell us viewers that Yuki is starting his immersed journey into finding who his character on the series is like. When he said, he was there looking for someone to have sex with, I was not expecting that, not just Asami 👀😮 I didn’t expect him to be this committed from the get-go. It was naively sweet but also foolish and likely dangerous to think he could find instant love and understand it with a random night of sex with a stranger and with the same gender too – all unexplored territory in one go🙈🫣 That’s not impossible but ambitious and unlikely. I’m glad Asami had a better proposal and a more viable😘💕💗💓 I loved this first ep.❣️👍 Our MLs weren’t wasting any time (and neither is that preview)😳 But something tells me that mixing reality with fiction will especially be a challenge for our rookie, Yuki😔 I hope he can process and understand all those feelings he’s going to have. It’s going to be amazing and scary – bc 1st time love is often like that😌
