  1. At the police station during interrogation was the moment Kim Gang Heon realized his eldest son was the start to all this mess. His eyes were so full of disgust!

Kim Eun is the purest of all, inside and out. That prosecutor lady is disappointing through and through. Technically, she can be charged with aiding and abetting manslaughter/murder (along with the rest of them). She and Detective Jang ran out of ideas and strategies to beat the bad guys, so they stooped to their level to try and beat them at their own game. Dream on!

She was so shameless to turn up at the funeral faking tears, sympathy, and concern, gaslit the judge, then asked for help later on. No wonder she failed at her job so miserably and her bestie detective Jang was murdered, too much trying hard.

(If this were a typical crime drama and the law enforcers were the main cast, surely they would’ve had smarter/exemplary ways to conquer the bad guys).

It’s nicely concluded! The sunset ending with the haggard-looking fathers conversing on the beach was quite symbolic. In the end, nobody got what they wanted. Everyone got sidetracked. I don’t expect a season 2 but I won’t say no to the idea.

  2. This drama needs another season, if not it’ll just be a unsatisfying ending for me because that scumbag of a son is still alive. I knew it was impossible, but I really hoped for a happy ending for Ho Yeong and Eun, unfortunate that they both died. Eun was also my favourite character, didn’t have that many scenes but she made every second count when she was on screen. The actress did a great job portraying her. 7.5/10

  3. Wow!! What a great drama. I know it’s based off the American show, Your Honor, but the director’s and producers for the korean version did a great job. I did tear up a little because at the end, not one person won. Just total injustice for a family, and a family knowing their son is trash, and dangerous, but continues to beat the system, due to the part on who his family is. I knew the judge son would die. Going to a house with a family of gangsters, with a gun, I mean what was he thinking? I can understand he was hurt by what happened to his mom, and who wouldn’t be, but he wasn’t going to get out of that house alive. It was just sad all around. Not sure if there will be a season 2, but this is one drama that I have seen this year that was good at the beginning, middle and end. 9/10

  4. I knew this show was going to end with me feeling a big pit in my heart. So many people got hurt and killed because of one person’s decision. I hurt most for Eun. That poor girl was born into the wrong family.

  5. I guess Ho Yeong didn’t hear me shouting “JUST DO IT!!! IF YA GONNA DO IT, DO IT!!! UNLOAD ON HIM BEFORE THE MAMA COMES FROM THE ROOM!!! PUSH HER OFF AND JUST DO IT!!” He should’ve meticulously planned how to get revenge on the right one!!!

I really enjoyed this from beginning to end. Wonder if the American version taps into the emotional aspect like this one??? I have my doubts, especially with 2 seasons, that gives me pause. For this one,I think they should’ve just given us at least 2 more episodes to finish thing out. With the 2 sons gone & the fathers repenting, I think another season would be drawn out.

  6. People that watched the original or US version, was the show you’ve watched went the same way as this Korean version?
How many seasons are there for those versions?

I’m pretty disappointed when they revealed AsthmaBoy’s POV and it created more plot holes than actually explain things, so I just want to know if there will be next season and will that season patch these holes up?

  7. so he did get asthma attack, got struck by light, killed the boy, laughed, but then y did he call 911??? just y??? to do what??? to leave evidence that Sang hyeon was killed, or to leave evidence of himself that an asthmatic was at the scene??? I didn’t understand the point of him calling 911….

  8. this ba*tard!!! he’s the start of all the miseries of that family, and he’s the one who’s alive and well and everyone else is dead because of him, just to save him…

but he acted well, he was so gud that I wanted to kill him every single time….he did great 👍

  9. the two fathers who strived to protect their families by hook or by crook and still were left with nothing….it was sad and satisfying at the same time…

but I still feel bad for the judge’s family more, the mother and son died for nothing, suffered for no reason, and in the end, no one was accountable for their miserable lives and deaths….Kim Gang heon did lose his precious ones but still he is untouchable and the real culprits are at large, living…..

all in all, I enjoyed the drama, the acting was just superb by everyone….and if there’s another season, m all for it…

  10. I’ll say she’s partially responsible for Ho yeong’s death….

the chairman was willing to let him go alive, and he would’ve stopped him somehow had she not called the wife and told her about the planned accident…..

she couldn’t punish Kim Gang heon, she couldn’t take Woo one down, so she let them commit another crime and still wasn’t able to punish them….what a loser!!!

  11. I felt so bad for him….😔😔😔😔

in the end, in a way, he took his revenge but also couldn’t…cz the main culprit is still alive and well….a whole family was destroyed just because the law is powerless in front of the powerful….poor boy suffered for years and just died miserably….

  12. can someone please explain if he was the one who informed Woo one about the judge bringing all the documents to him regarding Woo one and the whole family’s crimes or was he really on the judge’s side and wanted to finish Woo one??? cz if Woo one sent him the pictures of Song pan ho kneeling in front of the chairman, then did he really also hired a photographer to take pictures or he lied to Song pan ho??? or did he really think that the photos were from the man he hired??? cz I’ve been blaming him since yesterday that he was the one who informed Woo one and the judge got caught again and the documents were taken away from him….

and when did the prosecutor join hands with these two??? and if the prosecutor is working with him, that means he really is against Woo one, or is he playing the prosecution as well??? Gosh m so confused….

  13. I really enjoyed this drama, even though it was hard to watch the constant injustice and the innocent victims who were sacrificed in what seemed like a rigged game.

In the end, both fathers have lost their precious child. Was it really worth it?

I liked a lot Eun’s character and the actress did a good job.
Surprisingly, the psychopathic son survived the shooting.

The ending left things open, hinting at a second season that will likely focus on KKH’s collapse, involving his family and criminal empire. I think the judge and prosecutor will collaborate to take them down, with KKH and the judge finally facing the consequences of their crimes.
