Synopsis: When Kim Ji Yong was a child, his mother was beaten to death in the street. The culprit only received three and half years in prison. Kim Ji Yong—now an adult—sees that his mother’s killer hasn’t changed at all. Ji Yong takes matters into his own hands and beats him brutally.
Subsequently, Kim Ji Yong begins living two entirely different lives. On weekdays, he’s a model student at the police university. During the weekends, he punishes criminals who’d recieved light sentences and continue to commit criminal acts. Now called Vigilante, Ji Yong receives help from admirer Cho Kang Ok. Meanwhile, Detective Cho Heon chases after the man called Vigilante.

  1. One word for this series ” solid ” for most parts. Some parts could have been improved but rather than making it long, they decided to make it more concise and to the point.

    Our main characters are almost ” pyschos ” . I like that actor who was the main police in beginning and he delivered just like every one of his works i have seen in past.

    Either way, dont go thinking its some childish main character who will give some kind of talk bullshit to reform them. He straight up beats them up. Its not a spoiler but what happens in first 10 minutes of the show. Either way, every character was good in this.

    A solid 4/5.

    i really hate it when these so called “experts” such as heroes,spies, and vigilantes make such obvious and stupid mistakes that would compromise their mission. you expect me to believe that you are some skilled assassin thats been doing this for years and not get caught but yet yall keep making such obvious mistakes that would expose you? This guy literally only wears a hoodie, no mask, facepaint, or anything to cover his face. Uses work computers to do his vigilante research, no sort of armour. Also he has a copycat admirer that pretends to be him but you expect me to believe that a copycat does vigilantism better?

    the copycat wears a mask to hide his face while the real vigilante doesnt. copycat has a jammer for the devices such as camera but vigilante doesn’t and manually erases the cams.

    The MC moves in a way where if anyone observed him for a day well then they would know he is the vigilante immediately and its funny because the Badass cop hunting him figured out who he was just a couple of episodes in.

    watched some episodes but got too annoyed by this shi- this happens to almost all the spy/anti-hero korean series, not just in korea but overall in the genre and it is just stupid how these assasins commit such noob mistakes 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  13. So I guess it’s really 16 Ep but they are gonna chop it into 2 seasons. Like now JiYoung is really angry, so he’s gonna get the corrupt police next. Why not just give us all the episodes now. Another drama with another senseless death like The Killing Vote and so many others. I also tho the head teacher would be the driving force behind the student viligantes. Maybe next season he will step up in a move active role…

  16. There’s a reason Nam joo hyuk still remains my #1 actor even though I’m watching kdrama for 8 yrs now. It’s the way he will never bore you with his characters. He always tries to do something different and new and i love that. An actor gotta try different genres.

  18. Heard the original source is violent and gory/gruesome. How are the drama series compared to that? I like thrillers but not into gory/bloody/gruesome. I have weak stomach for that. Thanks 🙂

  20. Man… When I found out of the series I stopped the Manhua but it only has 8 episodes. I hoped that it will have 16 episodes with full story. Now I will have to wait another year for the 2nd season…I doubt I will be able to stop my self from continuing the manhua.

  27. Darn, i got addicted to this show already! When a show is made to 8 episodes only, expect the best: no unnecessary /corny parts injected just to stretch it out to 16 episodes. I still cannot get over how lame that “Destined with you.’

  28. The drama is watchable, fast pace, no crap scene. However there are few flaws. How the copycat vigilante knows his identity and his name?? This doesn’t make sense..

  29. There’s no way this drama will end well. I hope his Police friends aren’t the ones who take him out in the end. I hope instead they join him and his Captain creates a special secret unit to seek justice in a corrupted world. But knowing these dramas that’s not going to happen.

  48. I’m on the 77th chapter of the webcomic, if they follow true to the original source, it’s gonna be really sad and gruesome. But I have a feeling it will be toned down and Yoo Ji Tae don’t fit the task force chief investigator, he’s way too good looking and Lee Joon Hyeok as the “Imilante” remain to be seen if he can deliver that deranged creepy face or not.
