  1. “Takes two to tango” in regards to both couples.

Rose’s chapters were interesting as the writer was given the opportunity to viewers to choose her best partner according to the viewers’ respective background, education and life experiences. Quite a dilemma for some viewers because lust, love, freedom and respect were all in the same melting pot.

As for Su Su’s chapters, they were all for discussion on the law vs victims, family loyalty vs perfidious children, pride vs hyprocritical, forgiving vs forgetting. Those were my favorite chapters and they were so well scripted and acted as that.

  2. This type of woman portrayed really speaks to me. That “imperfect happy ending” just shows how life can build both strong independency and character without losing yourself….

  3. Fang Xie Wen is the most hypocritical Chinese character that I’ve ever encountered with more than the ugly villain charcaters. He is very contemptible; forgetting his humble beginnings, he wouldn’t even be able to cope without Rose’s financial help when he is starting a business and now he is judging her! it is cringy every time he pretends to be a cool guy.

  4. Well aside from cooking, her flaw is dealing with those men. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Jk.

But seriously, despite some not liking the ending. I like it. I am satisfied by it. This was The Tale of Rose, her life. It was about her. And her life isn’t just about her relationships.

    I actually learned a lot.

Among the 4, I would say minus the dying part I would pick the 3rd one. Cause he gets her a lot. Without his illness, he never held her back. I also don’t think she needed to go back to the first or second one. Even if they have changed, there’s no guarantee their relationships will work. We can help other people but if they don’t help themselves then it’s useless. You can help someone overcome their insecurities but it’s not your responsibility to make their insecurities go away.

I hope to watch more dramas like this where the woman is focused. Any suggestions?

  5. I wish more people watched C-dramas, so that there were more comments/discussions. I felt especially this way watching this show.

  6. Fang still hoping fr her to come back??? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I wish there was a character development n they got back together. But no matter how rich how successful he z he z still the same insecure fang πŸ˜‚

Taichu z lucky to have so many handsome diplomatic dads around her πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I don think these things hppn irl like finding handsome n capable boyfriends πŸ˜‚.

  7. She’s a true free spirit. Love the way she helped the young pilot and all of the others around her. High EQ for sure.

  8. Itβ€˜s funny to see every man who broken up with HYM isn’t able to moved on and stay single while our HYM get younger boyfriend and still hooking up with many others in the future.
