6. In its simplest form, in other words lets pretend there is no in house fighting, no one is scheming and it’s just boy likes girl world, as boyfriend material I honestly do prefer Su Rongqing. He really is the strong silent, stand by your woman type of man. I don’t think my personality could deal with the bat sh*t crazy that Pei Wenxuan throws at our Princess sometimes. I suppose she can tolerate it because she is the calm level headed one but my goodness, that boat scene, he even scared her to the point where she would have jumped into the river.

7. It seems the biggest mistake Rongqing made was doubting Wenxuan’s abilities. If Rongqing continues provoking him and his wife, I might start feeling sorry for Rongqing.
   I’m so happy that Rongqing’s plan completely backfired. Everything is working against him now.

13. i’ve come around on the emperor ( I adore his eunuch too), they’ve done a very good job of establishing his pov. I enjoyed all his scenes in this ep, esp when he was trying to mediate between the ridiculous leads 😂, i’m gonna miss him after his beloved consort poisons him to death.

    this level playing field between the leads and su where they’re all actively plotting is what I like to see, and just as I thought su can’t possibly win against the both of them…time for him to eat some humble pie, watch him get his family killed trying to play smart smh

14. su rongqing, su rongqing.. you did nothing but wake up a sleeping tiger. our Pei wenxuan was just minding his business with his girl but you had to accuse him of something he didn’t do. maybe in the past lifetime, your family were wrongly accused but now what? you are going to be the sole reason for their demise if you keep up to it. you should try to save your family by doing right stuffs, but all you are doing is going against his majesty and princess and wenxuan.
    consort rou is the one who provided the poison to su rongqing in the past to kill the princess and i think she is poisioning the king right now. hope they remove her before the king dies.
