  1. The speed in which the leads are taking risks and coming up with plans, jeez, I can tell you irl either I’ll go bald or will have instant white hair, puffy eyes and unhealthy skin – while these guys look fresh, shiny, healthy and yet leading in their game plan!

    When you want to ENJOY more screen time of Duke Su and JL, they purposely show us the unwanted couples 🙄 like what crime have we done to deserve this????!!!

    man can hold their temper..its very dangerous..
    if A man loves a woman(..thy will find it hard to let go)..if its their first Loves n hv mutual similarity n likeness .in.,hobbies n life styles It’s a match..- Both r Soul mate..?? It’s depends on each individual..some can forget or keep it in their heart..n loves e Woman thy loves..but dues to circumstances ,in this case ,His wife was framed.n seeing n thinking His wife hv betray their Loves…n having An Affair…had distorted his mind. seeing to no reason ..n out of rages,hurts,betrayal n humuliation.. ..n believe An Affair hv occurred ,seeing to no Reaason..he killed his wife.. .n thg d day he Regretted Alk his life.

  3. The plot re-written was so draggy and was really boring and ridiculous.
    Only an idiot would give away an army, to set a bait and rely on the Zhao army that does not belong to them.
    We later learnt that they have not yet gain King Zhao’s consent to help them, but they had already given away their own army.

  4. I was watching this half asleep and skipped thru some stuff- What does her Ex want? I know the princess is not going to kill JL because she has the army “fish key” now? But the long explanation: The Duke told JL made no sense to me? btw- whomever did the casting for this did a great job. The evil Ex-husband always with the look of guilt and disgusted pain… the princess also equally repulsive (they did so good)

  6. Her father needs to get with the program, if he doesn’t suspect something more is going on between Duke Su and his daughter from the way she drops everything immediately one of his guards turns up to request her presence, he is definitely as clueless as a grain of rice in a bag of beans.

    Btw Duke Su smiling happily as JL paces too and fro with worry for him is too cute.

The Double is, hands down, the best drama I’ve seen in a long time. Kudos to the entire team for their exceptional work! Now, please, give us more Jiang Li and Su!😍😍

    This episode was good. I love how calm JL behave in every situation. Duke Su tried so hard to control his jealousy and I love it.

    1. I love how smug he was as he watched her pace around frantic that he handed over the Longwu to the psycho princess.

    2. Watching the emperor and Duke Su play act an argument was so cute. I hope those broken items weren’t tooo expensive haha

    3. The conversation about secrets…him leaning into her as he confessed his feelings… yowzas!! Every time he looks at her he looks like this 😍 haha

  17. I knew there was something sus about that sudden fight between Duke Su and the Emperor, glad they didn’t drag it out before revealing it.
    I’m curious what was in that bottle that she drank? I tend to go with probably some kind of poison that she can activate when needed, like she needs both parts for it to be poison, ie the liquid and then a pill later. Of course it wouldn’t be fatal, but there’s a reason for it and a timing for when she was going to bring it out.

  19. This episode was so tense and very beautiful! The duke and Jiang Li stepped up in their relationship. See how she ran out in front of her father when she was told that the duke is waiting for her outside! And the near kisses…did they or did they or DID THEY…?

    And bravo, cracks now appearing between the princess and Me Shen…way to go

  20. Not my overall comment. Just wanted to say that I love how JL/XF takes EVERY SINGLE opportunity to drive Shen further and further over the edge of insanity and he falls for it every time. 🤣🤣🤣

    Talk about the ultimate power move and statement for the bat 💩 crazy Princess. JL/XF said “He was mine from beginning. Yeah you’ve had him recently and put in alot of work to kill me off to have him but he was always mine. I can take your man if I want to because what’s mine will always be mine.” She said it with not one word and I LIVE for it.🙌🙌🙌

    Wanning is insane. In every column she is ranked certifiable. In every scenario she needs to be given a cup a poison wine so she can reincarnate to be given another cup of poison wine for the cycle to repeate for at least 10 lifetimes. SMH.

    But I’m so happy that they love each other tbh. And good for the princess that she knows that she has been keeping a piece of shit around her since, even though she is the Devil himself

    But Duke Su loves so beautifully that it does my head innnnn

    And I like the last thing the princess said to Shen Yurong, I’m happy she knows she can never ever get that kind of love because she doesn’t deserve it. Like a witch.

    Anyways cracks are beginning to show. The next 6 episodes will be crazyyyyyy

Checklist for successful revenge: hold as many secrets about people as possible, have spies in every prominent household, find capable allies/pawns, draw your trump card only when necessary, be as calculative with a touch of cutthroat ruthlessness, and show your enemy no mercy. Did I add, fake an argument with the emperor for a little razzle-dazzle? I almost forgot, engage in a battle of wits and the act of flirtation with a touch of heavy sexual tension. Recipe for “The Double” revenge.

    “For your revenge, for a woman, are you willing to treat me as a pawn?” The emperor got a little taste of his own medicine.

    Seeing deranged Ji Shu Ran pisses me off. She got off too easy after all her nasty crimes.

  24. Nahhhhh… they really robbed us so bad with that stupid candle. Like I waited 34 eps of pure eye to eye chemistry and hand holding and finally they decide to bait us with a zoom into a candle! Like come onnnnnn. But I am LIVING for all their scenes together. SWOOONNNN🪭🪭🪭. Him just taking in the fact that she likes and worries about him too 🥰🤭. Remember guys: A hero will sacrifice the person they love to save the world, but a villain will sacrifice the world to save the person they love. BUT MFING yurong aint no hero. Low-key need a disgust disclaimer when he and the princess come on screen. Before, I used to hate him and the princess the same amount but now his repulsion increasing exponentially. P.S. The emperor redeemed his brownie points with that play though 😂. I’m so glad that things are going quite according to plan. Butttt director needs to give us the kiss fr before XH leaves or i’m going to riot. It’s so sad that we are almost ending but i’m also really looking forward to their couple moments.
