  5. I am unhappy with this episode, the director re-wrote the plot, focusing their past love affair and the build-up didn’t result in vengeance. Director has delayed the vengeance acts against Teacher Xiao, Princess, Shen, Shen sister and Shen mother.

  6. In the previous life and the current, live to the fullest. Never compromise yourself to become someone else just to please others, including me. Yes that’s all I have to say!! This man loves her in all her strength and glory! As opposed to the rat she had to compromise so much for.

    Emperor of Zhao has caught on that his sister likes Xiao Heng but he saw Xiao Heng staring at Xue Li. I am hoping he talks her out of it instead of forcing a marriage alliance 😅.

    Duke Su leaving does not sit well with me 😬

  8. “I love her” What utter bullshit was that. If Shen Yorong loved Xue Fangfei he should not have abandoned her. He even went as far as to ruin her reputation. He should have never been involved with the princess or he could just divorce her. But he killed her and her reputation. HE DOES NOT DESERVE ANY SYMPATHY.
    At least we got more scenes of JL and Duke Su together. Lol the way he rushed to explain himself when he noticed JL was there while worrying about the poison girl. The foreign princess better give up on Duke Su fast. The marriage as a alliance trope is gonna mess up the dynamics when the main leads have not been involved too romantically yet.
    Both Duke Su and JL are aware that they care for each other but their end goal is more important. JL wants to revenge herself and xiao heng needs to eliminate lorf Cheng. With just 9 episodes left are they even going to end up together…

  9. Is this one of those “kissless” dramas?

    Ditector had so many opportunities to bring them closer with passion. Instead we get passive insinuations. Time for that is long gone….as a couple they have progressed far enough to show their true feelings. 😒🧐

  10. I feel relieved whenever I saw a fan🏆 flying around in this drama 😬 And it was back to friendly mood (not the tensed up one) between emperor and Duke Su. I thought there would be more happening or interaction with the Zhao Emperor in Yan but he was already leaving? 🤔

  11. The way duke su visibly panicked when Jiang Li noticed his concern for Jiuyue, and the way he quickly explained himself like some guilty husband 😂 and then he immediately perked up like a puppy when JL said that she was coming over to his house every day to visit Jiuyue 🥹
