1. The actor of Li is a good actor. But why Mr. Shen despite of living hundreds of years is so stupid? Being humane, kind etc is good but self preserving is not ???

2. JX was determined to have Liang no matter what. If Liang wouldve let go of all his demons he wouldve lived a happy life with her… but nahhhhhhhhh he chose a path of no return.

3. The plot has become so ridiculous now. I don’t know if in the novel, all the characters are so stupid…the reasons behind their actions are so shallow as well. And Mr. Shen still chooses to humor Li’s plan, knowing it’s another trap. Ugh. Not another deja vu scene, please.

   On one hand, I can understand why Mr. Shen would rather leave and live a peaceful life with Mi Lan, but on the other hand, it’s also frustrating how he doesn’t have a solid plan to counter any of Li’s or Miss Mu’s attacks. He just goes into these situations without thinking of how to overpower them or escape. The only power he has is the newspaper company but I feel that he hasn’t fully utilized it. For example, what he did with Li few episodes ago was great. And how he used the news to gain advantage or warn people. I wish I got to see more of that. The writer didn’t utilize the advantages Mr. Shen has to fight his enemies better. That’s such a shame.

   Maybe the cut scenes would give the plot and character more depth, but at this point, I feel that the writer basically dumbed down every character. The good characters are either too nice or too unprepared, and continue to get defeated by their enemies who are physically weaker than them. The bad characters just keep winning when they barely have to use their heads coz the good characters are too nice. I also thought Situ would be smarter than that to agree to Li’s plan, but seeing how he’s still so caught up on pursuing Miss Jin also kinda explain how dense he can be sometimes. It’s like every character in this series has no logic going on in their heads.

   Saw all episodes dropped on the Chinese site and accidentally saw some comments so I know what ending to expect now. Basically skipping almost half the episodes and watching on 2x speed every episode just to get to the end. If it weren’t for Mi Lan and Mr. Shen, I’d have dropped this around ep15 already.

4. feel i bit bad for li cuz it would have been nice for him to end up with jx if he repented for his action but till this eps he still going on his demon side

5. Wow…when will JX ever get it into her thick head that Li doesn’t love her at all. That Whatever S** means nothing to him. Li will put himself first above all else and will sacrifice anyone or anything to meet his goals. And on top of that, he is stupid. So really it’s JX’s fault. Cause never ever have a man tell you more than once “He doesn’t love you”. I really wish Shen, Situ and Mi Lan would all sit down and plan carefully on how they can deal with this witch Mu cause this flying solo thingy is not helping is it 🤷‍♀️
   I’m beginning to get sick and tired on them just reacting according to Li’s moves. Like the bad guys are not even sleeping so they should up the ante. Actually that Chief was a little clever in this ep. cause he can totally see where alliances are and how very stupid his underling Li is.
   Sometimes I think Weilan has no emotions and then I see his obsession with JX and I think maybe not. One thing for sure though, he is very green when it comes to matters of love. Only if he knew what’s happening behind The Jin family closed doors, he may come to his senses…or maybe not, I don’t know.
   Is it me, or Shen and Mi Lan has been giving me sibling vibes lately 🤔 I’m not complaining, I’m just confused…that’s all.

   P.S. what will I do when this drama ends…it’s been my happy place 😫😭

6. I feel like we are only waiting for Mr. Li to makes plans so that the others can move to defend themselves or run or die… !
   honestly it seems like this entire drama is only about him…
