  1. The prison escape scene was actually quite anticlimactic at the end. I thought Mr. Shen was smarter than that to not leave through the front door…obviously people would be waiting there for him. At this point, I feel that Mi Lan is even smarter than Mr. Shen. Lol. But I’m assuming he had lost his sanity at that point since he couldn’t control himself anymore and killed people. But it’s always the case where they only get stronger by taking blood. And if they don’t, they won’t be strong enough to defeat the enemy!! Argh, so frustrating.

    But UGH! Li and that Miss Mu are so annoying. Serves her right for having that curse. I hope she doesn’t get to break it. And Li, I thought he may not be a lost cause at first, but it does feel more and more like he’s gonna be the sacrificed one when he gets his redemption arc. But whatever I don’t care what happens to him anymore. There’s no redeeming for him at this point.

    And please let this be the last time the bad guys capture Mi Lan to threaten Mr. Shen and he has to willingly walk into danger to save her. I’m so tired of this trope. I hope he isn’t gonna be stuck in this prison for long. It better not be dragged out and take up 2-3 episodes. Unless Mr. Shen actually comes up with a plan to take down Miss Mu in prison and crush that stupid ring of hers. 🙄 Omg why was this episode so frustrating. Lolol

OMG Li was totally getting his rocks off watching Shen go down … hiding around the corner like a plague rat … and did I see a tear start to roll down his eye when they caught Shen 🤔 … what a sick Fck he is. Ms Mu is his fellow ‘pea in the pod’ … smiling in triumph … her and Li have both lost the plot and are as despicable as each other.

    Mi Lan has some guts … I like that. I had to laugh about the guards thinking she would never go out at night … while she can seem some light, her world is mostly dark anyway so a night escape would be no problem plus it has the added advantage of sleeping guards.

    I felt sorry for Shen … it is like all those centuries of wanting to take the peaceful approach crashed and burned … and he couldn’t even die on principle.

  3. Okay, somebody kill Li-Yingliang cause if not, I will myself. He has crossed too many lines he shouldn’t but this time it’s the last straw for me. I literally used to find him comical nomatter what the Situ is, and joke that he is in love with Shen cause the obsession is too much. However, in this ep. he just shredded any little pity/grace I had….no redemption here. I need him dead.
    Knowing the novel though and if the drama continues to follow it closely, then I know his fate and Now I’m even more Angry 😠 😡

They really did Shen dirty… he has held back enough and they really pushed him way beyond limit… the Mu girl to has her own agenda, probably wants to be like him, to continue living… the wicked superintendent too, starting his own scheme too 🙄🙄🙄… Li really has to die, I don’t care if all his actions must be because he has been a dog almost all his life…

    I really felt for Shen 😭😭😭

  5. Whichever hairdresser gave the ladies horizontal bangs with vampire fangs at the sides needs to never work again. It looked bad in dramas 10 years ago and still looks bad today.

  6. Shit went down so fast lol. I expected stuff like this to happen around the end of the series not right now lol!!!!!!! I was surprised the whole time!!!!!!!!

    It really pains me that all though Shen Zhiheng possessed the power to kill a lot of people and make humanity suffer for hundreds of years, he never did but instead was kind and lived by the way of humans, only for him to be insulted and humiliated like this in the end. I felt his silent rage and anger under his white blanket as he cried and looked defeated !!!!!!

    In the beginning, i actually enjoyed Li Yingliang’s character, bcz it felt like all of this was due to circumstances and that there are lines he wouldn’t cross but here we are. I was enraged looking at his face with his sinister look sitting right beside chained and humiliated Shen!

    I hope Shen is not soft with his revenge and i understand he wants to die more than anything and that is his biggest wish since he contracted this weird disease but i hope he doesn’t die without killing these weird bastards first
