In the EP 7 epilogue FL crying over ML going overseas, she already falling for him since higschool but didn’t know that is love.
I am gonna be honest honest. This drama had potential but the problem started with the plot summary. It is misleading since it says Hongju had a crush but no it was just a little attraction.
This seemed more like a real life love story since they kinda got together to quick (That’s what I want to tell myself… leave me alone)
They could’ve cut the unnecessary drama on the last two episode and maybe also the uncle’s lovestory (as mush as I love him, it didn’t contribute anything to the story) and made episode 6 and 7 for Honju to realise she fell in love with Hoo Young and ep 8 to show their dating era with maybe his mom causing some slight drama and since his mom hates the idea of being in Korea, they could’ve showed she was okay with them dating if it was in USA (while some time skips to show how their relationship goes with time). Tada!
Now that’ve made this drama better bcz with so many tropes, all the subplot ended up being incomplete (except maybe the teachers’ lovestory)
One thing I loved her going to US with him unlike in the other dramas ❤️
Anyways:
It’s not boring, you can watch it if you want.

The best couple award goes to……… None other than…… Mr. Son and his father in law
And last but not the least, the second best couple award goes to Sangpil and me 💋💋💋💋
Smart ending. I was thinking we would see another time skip, but she chose to be with him, I am glad her circumstances allowed it too.
Bang Junho’ and the Mother need to give up, on hongju and huyoung respectively.
Dasom has said in an interview that Kwon Sangpil liked her a lot. For those of you who didn’t notice, this piece of info will help you while watching their dinner scene later in the drama.
I liked it. Their couple moments were too cute.
I think the ending dialogue was essential- fate is a string of the choices you make.
Of course it was a recycled drama, but I mean its okay, some fluff felt nice.
It’s so funny how the second lead couple are always bonding over shoesss!
I don’t know what to say. It feels like the story started now instead of ending. It started getting deeper in the last two episodes. Honestly, I wanted to give Kim So-hyun another chance (I only saw her on Love Alarm and I didn’t like it much) and once I saw Jong-hyeop I was so into it, but the drama lacked a lot.
It was slow-paced for an eight-episode drama. Hong-ju didn’t evoke any emotions in me and she felt distant. Her backstory with her family (?) was a loose end. No offense to Kim So-hyun and her fans, but it felt like she was acting and couldn’t suck me into her role if you get what I mean. I could see the emotions playing on Jong-hyeop’s face, while she was more stoic. Hoo-young wasn’t a deep character, and I couldn’t tell what he was thinking most of the time, but I always appreciate the fact that Jong-hyeop plays the role of a committed and sincere guy. Thank God for the second leads!!!!! Am I the only one who thought Bang Jun-ho was toxic and pathetic? And seriously, Hoo Young’s mother was a lot to handle. They brushed her behavior off as love when she was actually controlling and obsessive😐
Now, who’s gonna watch Perfect Family?

Serendipity’s Embrace – Mainly I watched this drama coz of Kim So-hyun. I really like her.
I really want to see Kim So-hye and Chae Jongp-hyeop as a couple in some other drama.
Yo, I didn’t realize this is the last episode….. I thought there’s ways to go, still.
Don’t even know how to react or feel about this drama…… it’s like a passing commercial…..
wait, I’m confused.was it a confession? that’s why she was excited? so she knew he liked her back then?
In the memory from school, when he said that they’re badmouthing her
this story, the plot, specially the “Love story” was just meh…..I understand that Hoo young loved her since centuries, but her falling for him was in no way felt natural, it was just for the sake of it cz he’s the main lead…..she felt some emotions, then she delivered her friend’s love letters to him, then he went to US, she cried, but when he came back, she again tried to set them up, but as soon as he said he likes her, she started to like him back….like how???
so much focus on the word Animation, and nothing was shown of it other than million shots of Avant grade lover novel….I was hoping to see her working on something to boost her career but they just said the word Animation, that’s all ….
I just hope Kim so hyun takes on some gud roles in the future, cz this lovey dovey high school crush dramas are overdone in her career now….I wanna see her in more mature characters where her character has plenty to offer, other than being cute….and for that reason m impatiently waiting for her next drama with Park bo gum and other amazing cast members, based on athletes, I hope its something different…..
and I also hope Chae Jong hyeop also takes on some other roles, than being a cold male lead with mommy daddy issues…..
gud thing it was only 8 episodes, cz a 16 episodes would have been hella tedious and boring…..
This drama has everything except love story btw ml, fl.
ML likes FL because she is his crush in past, FL loves ml because she knows he loves her.
We know very little about ml personality except him being lovesick for fl.
We know way much more about 2ml personality and his history, if writers didn’t written him off as a trash character and shows he may also have some redeemable qualities, I’m sure many will feel conflicted.
FL character arc all over the place. I can’t say much about her but one thing for sure she knows very very little about ml personality. Last 2 eps her character takes 360° turn. I hope in future she may not turn like his mother and control him in everything.
There is no love story, it just two people who mutually get attracted to each other and starts their own journey. It may last, may not in long journey as they both don’t get to see their real personalities.
For people, who don’t take care much about anything and just want cute moments btw them, may like this drama very much.
For me, this is just another average kdrama rom-com with cliches. 6/10.
I guess only lucky people will have someone who will love them like Hoo young does. How much luck do you think it needs to be loved like that???????
and the more important thing is, even though he loves her so much, he doesn’t impose it on her, gives her space, respects her decision and doesn’t do anything to hurt her at all. That just melts my heart.

God, FL is beyond cute with the way she relates with the ML’s mother. No intimidation or micing of words. Love her. ML was a loverboy, sure and reliable.
This whole show turned out so sweet and cute. Absolutely satisfying. I wish I’d saved myself the angst of watching previews and reading comments.
Cause kdrama preview tend to misleading promote angst even when there’s none and the comments were filled with bad blood especially on MDL
