Rugal (2020)

Synopsis: “Rugal” follows the story of Kang Ki Beom, a highly skilled police officer who is determined to bring down the criminal organization known as Argos. In his pursuit, Kang’s wife is killed and he is left blinded by a group of masked assailants working for Argos. When he wakes up in a hospital, Kang is accused of murdering his own family. However, the National Intelligence Service (NIS) offers him a chance for redemption by recruiting him to join Rugal, a special team that utilizes advanced biotechnology. With his new artificial eyes, Kang gains unique abilities that aid him in his mission to take down criminal organizations, specifically Argos. Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, “Rugal” is directed by Kang Cheol Woo.
