  1. Wei Zhao is cruel and even attempted to kill her yet she is so carefree around him but for Pei Yan, his obsessed expressions even from the screen make me vomit. He is biased and power hungry

    sanlang was so cool in this episode..when he means to protect someone he goes all out ….now it seems Jiang Ci has totally lost trust in Pei Yan..this here marks the beginning of the change in their relationship

  5. This is the first time i see a FL trying to r*pe the villian!!…LOL..
    Thats how it was back then, and even now in some countries, when women and girls get kidnap and assaulted, they are being forced to marry the committer so that it will retain the victim’s reputation. I dont agree with that, because why would parents let their daughters get force married to someone who dont love and will potentially abuse them further more.
    Pei Yan is in a tight spots, he doesn’t want to take in all those dirty weapons and treasures, but he needs power. So in the end, he will eventually leads towards the dark side.

  6. It’s so evident that even she cannot deny anymore. Pei is not what he seems and the layers he hides is far more dark than Wen Zhao blatantly showing his. Pei is too deep in his own family drama to be a good human and be a good partner to her. He can’t stand up to his mother. Rather, he won’t. She will always be a bird under lock and key if she were to be with him. He treats her like a play thing “let’s go sightsee, stay at home and be safe, don’t do this, don’t do that”.

    Wen Zhao may be a stone cold ruthless killer but his heart is definitely melting for her.

    The fact that Pei thinks that MARRYING a man that SA’d a woman is the “solution”…. Wow. Just…wow. It’s so sad (and frightening) how this actually happened back in the day and is what happens still in some places.

    The disappointment in JC’s eyes spoke volumes. And I hope she detangles herself from Pei soon. I can feel the suffocation through the screen….😮‍💨

  7. knew he would flip under his mom pressure…as predicted he lost his moral and she would never want to be under such a person! ML even if he ruthless killer and attempted to kill her thrice but later he save her as well now when he defended for them! she should now realise that he is not bad in upholding justice and hence he is hell as all say

  8. I love an enemies to lovers trope but with this one I was doubting since he attempted to kill her multiple times. It’s like the ultimate enemies to lovers. he really went from stabbing and poisoning her to protecting her from everything now.

  9. It’s really hard to believe that anyone could just sneak out of a mansion that’s supposedly well guarded and walk all the way to the countryside (foundry) that quickly. Also, that’s a mighty long 2 hrs before the trial for a boat ride back and forth and a stop to contemplate by the river!🤔
