why did it end😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I watched ep 15 and 16 together…I just can tell how much I cry and laugh at same time …. I am gona miss them …. recently thier are good drama with good ending…I am gona miss them 🥹…
I will miss the story of mo eum … How her mother and her boyfriend supported her to achieve her dream ….
how 4 friend live their life at fullest….I enjoyed every moment…..the last scene in park ….the way in starting they brag about their children and now it’s opposite…😂😂😂 … A totally wholesome moment…
And I am have for brother also he got his job and girl both ….
the ending can’t be better then this ….they give us all everything…❤️😍
I loved this drama so much!!! But I’m so disappointed that they didn’t give much scenes of the 2nd lead couple.. atleast y’all could have given an affectionate airport scene ..where she goes to South pole.. there was barely any intimate romance shown of the second lead but still I loved the second leads the most!!!
It was a nice comfort watch, not going to lie, I did skip through this ep it was all fluff and very predictable.
I loved how that park scene had the huge difference from the beginning to end when both the moms were constantly bragging and competing between MLs on which suk had the most successful child to bragging about each other’s daughter in law and son in law and still in the conclusion Yeon. Do won 😂
I loved how they showed the bonding between the fathers from good friends to real annoying friends
hahahahahahaha as men always do. when we get together and drink the life out of ourselves, hahahahahaha
SeokRyu and Moeum have the best boyfriends ever.
And vice versa, SeungHyo and DanHo have the best girlfriends ever!
The way he bought her the south pole’s needs. 🥹
And how his eyes immediately spark when SeokRyu’s dad told him he’s gonna give SeokRyu the restaurant. 🥹

They’re really really really the epitome of such wholesome and healthy relationship.

SeokRyu and SeungHyo are really blessed with amazing in-laws. All the loneliness and pain they experienced in the past are finally paid off with such fruitful and wholesome relationship. We all see how happy SeokRyu was when she was dating her ex. But these past few episodes really show how SeokRyu and SeungHyo are really custom-made for each other. They look so happy with each other that even I’m all choked up to see their smiles 🥹❤️
I love how this drama portrays all the friendships. From best friends to lovers, the trio that’s upgraded to a quartet (SeokRyu, SeungHyo, Moeum, DanHo), the lavender gank, the dads friendship, the ex that became friends, even the subtle friendship within AtelierIn. This drama really did friendship right. I wish I had something like that.
Everyone got their beautiful ending (or beginning) of their journey. So thank you TVN. For breaking the poster theory curse 😂❤️
Jung hae in and So min did not disappoint. I am leaving a mark here so i come back and watch this amazing show as many times i want in the future. Now i feel like i have a hole in my chest full of emptiness.
loved this whole journey, loved all the characters and of course all the actors, everyone did a brilliant job 👏👏👏👏. it was sweet, warm, chaotic, a hell of a roller coaster of emotions but it made my weekends beautiful 😍🤩
m glad that it wasn’t just a journey of the main leads, but everyone involved, even the parents, and everyone got a clear, much needed and a happy closure….

I love jung so min, she’s my ultimate bias along with 400 other actresses 😁😁😁, but she’s my first ever girl crush ❤️❤️ and she looked extremely pretty in this drama, but sorry, not a fan of this look of hers, the makeup, the hair, the overall look, something’s amiss, perhaps had she let her hair down, it would’ve made a whole lot of difference, this hairdo didn’t suit her….I know it wasn’t her day to shine, but it shouldn’t have been this way as well…..

they’re having the time of their lives, they’re compensating all the time and years they spent apart and in misunderstandings and m all for it, I love them 🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and m so glad they’re showing love blooming between an elderly couple as well, though not sure if I should call them an “elderly couple”, they both look quite young for it…..

and she’s the best mother, I just loved how she never had any problems or created any problems regarding her daughter’s job and how proud she was at Mo eum getting her dream job, no fuss, no drama, no unnecessary screaming, such a cool mum ❤️❤️❤️
m so glad that she didn’t have to give up on her dream because of her relationship, in fact that relationship became her strength to succeed more in life ❤️❤️❤️❤️
spent the past week binge watching this drama and I cannot believe I almost didn’t watch cos I saw comments about the cancer situation, I’m glad i did. The cancer story line added more to the story.
Not surprised that Seok Ryu decided to run her dad’s restaurant, I’m sure everyone saw that coming.
i really enjoyed this and will definitely rewatch.
I really like the vow renewal scene, it was a nice touch. and the visual of the lavender sister hopping in to join the wedding photoshoot made me lol
the way the mothers went from bragging about their own child at the beginning to bragging about their child’s partner is so funny
Now no more waiting on sat and sun’s .The overall was amazing .
It’s my opinion but wanted more seokryu pov till the end I feel choiseung loved her more 🫣
Still lnd was wonderful drama with amazing cast ♥️

Such a beautiful ending. All the theories about Bae SeokRyu dying of cancer didn’t happen. I love how this drama is more of a family drama than rom-com. Time to watch Iron family now 😩. I’ll miss SeungHyo and SeokRyu. I wish we can get a spinoff of the second leads.
Although there was a fear (somewhere in the middle of this drama when they introduced the cancer story) that the story would take a wrong turn, I have to admit that this is one of those dramas that fills you with warmth, nostalgia and a sense of blissful contentment🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. From this angle, even the cancer part makes sense. We met the man who made Seok Ryu who she is today, because he was there for her in her worst moments. I have a theory that the people we meet in life, and interact with, are actually part of our maturation. Every new acquaintance is a lesson that we need to master. Some are painful, some are beautiful, but they all have the same goal, to enrich us for a new experience. It is up to us whether we will figure it out and how soon. So I think Hyeon-Jun’s weakness actually helped Seok Ryu appreciate Seung Hyo’s strength and perseverance, which might not have been the case if she hadn’t gone through the ordeal she went through.
The characters have their flaws, but that makes them real. Some have become dearer to me over time, some even less dear than they were in the beginning, but that’s how it is in life, so I guess that’s why we surround ourselves with people who are similar to us, right? There wasn’t “too much” drama, there was very healthy and mature communication between the lead couple (which in K dramas is on the level of Halley’s Comet, you see it once every 80 years), and a harmonious relationship for most of the couples. Even though we didn’t see the wedding, great job with the marital discord rules at the end of this episode. It really confirmed all the positive things we mentioned about this couple. Btw, how cute are they😍!!
All in all, I enjoyed the last few weekends and I hope this drama gets a worthy replacement.

I have mixed feelings about the ending 😭 l really loved how they wrapped up everything but still I wanted to see their wedding and I also wished yeon du will call moeum ‘eomma’ instead of ‘unni’
Now that it has ended I’m feeling a bit sad😭

Another one of my weekend dramas has come to an end. The one thing that I’m going to miss the most and that made this so much more memorable for me is the different friendships. The leads’ trio (with the new addtion of Mr. reporter), the lavenders (Oh how I loved their bickering) and the dads’ budding friendship (it came out of nowhere but became my favourite instantly 💕
The vow renewal part was such a heartwarming addition 💜
Many predicted about Seok Ryu running her dad’s restaurant which Hae In will renovate, but I remember one person predicting she will be using utensils from Tae Hui! I think that actually became true. I could see the traditional cookware in the background. That one kdrama where we had the best ex characters: Tae Hui and Hyeon Jun.
Wait!! Now that lnd also finished what should I do nowwww??😭 Only The judge from hell won’t be enough for me! Guys how do I survive now? Is there any interesting upcoming dramas?? :'(
This ending ep was such a rollercoaster. It was so good to see everyone reaching their happiness. Just happy they wrapped up nicely. This ep was my favorite!!! 🤌
Btw, I had a hunch that seok-ryu would open her own restaurant in her fathers shop .And that’s what actually happened.
But the main thing is, now I really wanna try her food lol. Seok-ryu can you deliver overseas please??? 🥹😭
I’ve seen so many mixed feelings about this drama, mainly critiqued in comparison to other ongoing dramas…BUT for me, it should be appreciated in its own light. Thanks to Love Next Door, my weekends were consumed with 🤣G I G G L E S🤣 and 🦋B U T T E R F L I E S🦋. Once I turned a blind eye to comments that only sought to
dissectandbutcherplots before they developed🫣, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the themes of love, family and friendships. Through the laughs and so many tears🥹, my heart felt full and my soul tickled💗Superb cast… I love it when characters don’t only support the overall storyline from the background, but carry their roles with a ✨sparkle✨ deserving of the spotlight🔦 you were all MAIN LEADS in my book.
👋 Farewell “Mother’s Friend’s Son” (Korean title – Eomma Chingu Adeul) everything tied up so nicely, I was happy with all the resolutions. One of the best, satisfying finales in a while…Bravo 🙌
