1. Wonderful! We’ve got an ostrich emperor, ladies and gents. He’d rather bury his head in the sand so that his plans for the throne are not stirred. It doesn’t matter that his second son might have been killed by the first, noooo… It doesn’t matter that his dead wife would be disappointed as hell by him, noooo… All that matters is that the emperor himself was RIGHT to choose that despicable CP of his. Famous last words, Emperor… famous last words. I can see Karma café preparing a special order for you.

   As for Luo Mei and CP’s intimate scene, two things: 1) had to fast forward because it upset my stomach and 2) I hope Luo Mei finds out gets to kills you, ars***le. (Pardon my French. I’m too old and cranky to be polite these days…) Preferably by having you drawn and quartered.

3. The Emperor is so hot/cold, one minute I like him and the next minute, Im like wtf. Moving forward I don’t like him, hes a horrible father and I believe he hates Jing and secretly wants him dead too. He has other sons so why he goes along with all the cp bulls#!t. He even called off his search which was just an act from my end. The cp should kill him just to show him how serious he is about getting what he wants.

   😒 FFS why do script writers insist on this stupidity … it drives me nuts … if it is not interfering mothers barging in, it is brats … where was the BRAT when the CP was getting his way with Luo Mei … if any interruption by a BRAT was required it was between those two as it was NC … not happy with the BRAT factor at all

8. So much time spent on describing the village life. Will be used later as fillers for memory of their romance or a hidden heaven for the lovers somehow. Hope CP doesn’t eliminate this village.

   Well…well, Luo Mei fell in CP’s well conspired trap.

   Yue Qin and CP, two obssessive disorder characters joining hands to take down Jing He ?

   So, according to what I understood in this episode, Empress De Jia in order to protect Jing He, didn’t wish him to fight for the throne. She sacrificed her son with the Emperor’s promess.

   I am not at ease when too often the casting department uses obese actors as simple minded characters. In my human mind I feel uncomfortable.

   Thanks god Liu Xue Yi brightens the screen with his good acting…otherwise…

9. imo they should have interwoven the romance into the main plot instead of serving it in its own separate bowl. hate to say it, but I wasn’t really engaged or moved, and its supposed to be one of the drama’s highlights. also its hard to focus on them with that unhinged cp just wilding in the background justiceforluomei.
   anyway i’m so happy everyone’s back in the capital, let chaos once again reign!!!!
