1. Maybe it will end with a cliff hanger like season 1 with FX’s death, this time round it would be either WZ or CPP

2. At least he’s not trying to sell Bitcoin ETF. But the part on selling treasury bonds is a bit lame, as the explanations aren’t up to par.

3. so the emperor is empowering himself as supreme in all matters! overview is foreshadowed by him and FX also! he wants absolute control and his influence should be felt and scared! looks like FX is disappointed that he is not allowed to do anything independently…guess it was the same for his mom who time travelled and got lot of futuristic things introduced.. guess she hid the bullet so none find out…his master is killed and weapon is same of Wu…even if he forgets what is the use of killing him! guess RR is going to take a shot at him later and do a surgery and fake his death!

4. So this is coming to an end for now at 36 episodes. There will be a season 3 so I’m assuming there will be another cliffhanger. I hope not at least nothing major. I seen where they will start filming season 3 next year but they did say it will only be a 2 yr wait instead of a five yr. How thoughtful of them lol. . I’m just curious what is the King’s real purpose for Fan Xian. And does he know he is his son? Also don’t shed tears to soon for his mentor/master

5. All this while I’ve been wondering as to why the Grand Princess was in charge of the Treasury/Neiku, when she wasn’t really of royal blood. So now we find out that she has influence over the Ming family who now rules the Three Great Workshops (also founded by FX’s mother). So this lady basically stole Neiku and Three Great Workshops from FX’s mom. I am guessing that she has a hand in orchestrating Ye Qing Mei’s death and downfall. I’ve always felt that her hatred and animosity towards FX is not just because he’s taking over Neiku, but because he’s the love child of the the Emperor (the only man she loves) and Ye Qing Mei (the only woman HE loved). Ofc all this is conjecture cos I still feel there’s so much info I’m missing and I refuse to read the novel cos I don’t wanna spoil myself.

   Also, omggggg FX’s teacher 😭😭😭 I knew he was gonna die when they started playing the sad music for him but wtf I didn’t expect him to be killed in the very same episode!! They’re making it seem as if Wu Zhu is the killer, but I’m hoping it’s a red herring.

   On the plus side, I really love seeing all these Fan siblings scenes they’re so fun to watch! I love Ruo Ruo she’s my favourite, and Fan Si Zhe is really coming into his own. I’m rooting for you lil bro! Can smn refresh my memory: FX is not biologically related to his siblings rgt? We know Fan Si Zhe is the son of Minister Fan and his concubine, but what about Ruo Ruo? She’s Minister Fan’s daughter, but who’s her mother?

6. This episode was too ominous!! So many things that happened in this episode and the previous one that are foreshadowing disaster :\ Wu Zhu giving Fan Xian the bullets and showing Ruo Ruo how to use the rifle and asking her to protect her brother, Ruo Ruo taking the seed from the grape in a manner that resembles a surgeon taking the bullet out from a wound, Fan Xian’s teacher either injured/dead, Fan Xian’s father talking about “retiring”, the palace guards leaving the palace and the emperor to “deliver flowers” with Fan Xian in a very isolated, hard to reach place that .. something big about to happen!!
