  1. Loved the powerful but simple ending of Haoran having his photo taken by Chihiro…wow the smile.. This show 10/10 (even though quite traumatising)… I need to watch a fluffy show after this my gosh…

  2. I’m gonna miss them so much, I wish we could get one more special episode of them being lovey dovey after all the pain they went through.
Amazing actors, amazing chemistry (hopefully we can see them together again) and amazing soundtrack! That opening song has been on replay on my spotify, it makes me feel so nostalgic T.T
We need more raw and heavy shows like this.

    ☑️Happy of the End (8/10)
Sawamura Rei as Keito / Haoren
    (January 2, 1997)
    Beppu Yurai as Kashiwagi Chihiro
    (November 24, 1998)

  4. A better ending than I thought they’d have (kind of unrealistic if I may say). Given how dark the first half was, I was not expecting it to end with a reunion…

This series felt special from start to finish. This is about two deeply scarred and traumatized individuals who happened to find each other and find love for the first time with each other. They suffer before they meet, the suffer while they get to know each other and they suffer in love. While I cannot say it was a happy ending, cause unless they each get a shit ton of therapy, neither will be happy. But I was so relieved at the end that Haoren came and found Chihiro at the end. I’m also immensely glad that that crazy b*stard Maya died as well. He deserved a much harsher end, but I’m just glad he isn’t around anymore when they reconnect.

My heart went out to both Haoren and Chihiro. The actors did an incredible job, cinematography is top notch and the music was so fitting. My respect goes to all involved in this project delivering such a unique show. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  5. I LOVED THIS.

It doesn’t happen often that we have a great plot with great acting and cinematography and directing, most of the times one of these is lacking. But here we had an amazing show with all of there factors. I especially loved Chihiro with that simple mind and tall, lanky frame. I think he did the characters justice. (All of them did.). The show was satisfying to the last second and I’m SO happy it had a happy ending.

+ I loved how seeing Haoren again after years of not knowing wether he’s alive or not, Chihiro’s first instinct was to pick up his camera and take a photo, not even surprised, like he’s been sure that he will come back. 🥹🥲

+ there wasn’t much kissing and hugging but the best thing was, there wasn’t much need for that. Their love was in their eyes, in their gestures, the way they leaned on each other and cared about each other.

+ Maya’s ending was fitting, I guess. He was too far gone and suicidal from the start. And the way he yeeted himself down the building was so in character I wanted to laugh 😂 what an amazingly horrible character he was! The actor truly nailed it!

Give me more of these heavy, dark-themed shows!!!!

  6. Gosh, I was scared when Kaji says that Maya was hospitalized. I cursed the writer for letting that monster live after being stabbed. But what a relief it was after the story ends with Maya jumping to his death.

It’s unrealistic that Chihiro made a name for himself in three years after buying a professional camera. As for Haoren, I was glad that he sat in prison for three years rehabilitated instead of living in fear and constantly on the run. I don’t mind the three year separation. It’s better than five years, right? Time apart allows each to grow independently from each other.

I was on edge from the start of this series until the finale that I breathed a sigh of relief. Pfft….

I like the excellent production of this series, but I don’t want to see another dark one like that for awhile.
    👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

  7. Even the episode was bright and sunny 🥺🥺♥️♥️ Happy they had their happy ending. Wish we’d seen more of them happy together after everything, but this is fine too 🌻🌻♥️♥️

  8. Reuniting at the park after 3 years chihiro finally being able to take a picture of haoren smiling and wearing his gift he got him

  9. What a relief, this final episode was…almost like how dark clouds dissipate to leave behind a sunny and blue sky….I was almost starting to despair about a heartbreaking ending for Haoren and Chihiro….

I was exactly like Chihiro when he finally saw and clicked Haorem, the second time now…crying and laughing at the same time…. Yokattaaa 😁

But the last episode did feel slightly rushed…..I wonder if the original manga had more content? Anyway not complaining…at least it lived up to its name ‘Happy of the End” 🥰
