Good Partner (2024) Episode 1
I never understood when one faces with evil, one would just stand still and let them get close to your ear and whisper the threat. Atty Cha deserves what she get to stupidly ran to him, why? To protect him. Give me a break.. all the dramas producer are getting disparate to create such scenario. Give me a billion I wouldn’t answer his phone call.
Stupid Han Yu Ri are willing to project the law firm’s reputation by lying to the cop.
wouldn’t this be called illegal recording??? or it won’t be cz a lawyer is doing it??? cz m absolutely sure, had it been any other drama, this recording wouldn’t have been an admissible evidence in the court, they would’ve called it illegal and discarded it from the evidence list….
allow me a murder and I won’t let her see the daylight again 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡 how dare she, how fuc*ing dare she cry and mourn for Ji young’s death, she should be the one hanged, she’s the real culprit….
I’m very happy with this show. I do have one question, tho. Wouldn’t an attorney who filed a false/incomplete report to the police be in trouble?
The pen was unpaid actor here. The two Male lead weren’t portraying the characters but the society. We want the justice but don’t have the courage to stand against the culprits. We come up with many excuses and many more reasons for validating our silence and not taking a stand.
Yuri said it is right that Attorney cha is really courageous. She saw a person taking their last breath, was in the same room as murderer , threatened, worried about her daughter safety, had a lot going on with guilt of not being able to save someone. Took a stand that could threaten her job, safety her daughter but at the she chose to be the witness. Yuri found the real culprit is the society went onto to protest but what exactly did the government do? Literally nothing. That’s what most of the government do. They are just unbothered.
Finally, my long wish for attorney cha to start her own practice came true. It will be difficult to find client, manage the finance but it will worth of my time to watch this journey.
I am so glad the series is not just ending with her open her own law firm at final episode, they are going to show it in detail too yeahh!!!!. Glad I watched this dramas, initially I thought it would end with her winning her own divorce case and gain custody of child. But they wrapped it by 12th episode. The series is trying it’s best to cover all kinds of cases and it’s so good.
15 years is way too short, it should have been a life sentence.
Sadly, everyone around Yoo Ji Young failed her. Her death was preventable if only more people cared. Let me say the law firm CEO isn’t worthy of being called a man, a leader, or a father. A person who views a woman’s murder as less important than some trashy wealthy criminal family isn’t worthy of any status related to humans. Chun’s father and Ji Young’s parents should be held criminally liable for what he did. They knew what he was and protected him, the monstrous criminal, over the innocent victim just because he was a man and she was a woman. Such misogyny and hate are so overwhelming and hard to stomach. It makes me so angry. It should be unacceptable to everyone, and until the country sees it as that, it will continue to tarnish the fabric of their society.
If there is anything I dislike about South Korea (and many other countries with similar cultures, mine included), it is the national law’s impotence to protect women’s rights; they need to do better. Every other year, there is a new case of men victimizing girls and women, and the law does nothing to deter the criminals, just a slap on the wrist. As long as lawmakers do nothing to eliminate loopholes that protect perpetrators rather than the victims and work to strengthen enforcement to deter and punish the stalking and killing of women, nothing will change. The men will always win over the women for merely being men. I hope this episode helps bring change forward.
I know he’s a terrible person but the actor was the star of these 2 episodes.
His acting was just ON POINT!
His scenes were so entertaining throughout the episodes!! I’ve always loved seeing him on screen and this man needs more recognition.
P.S. I would love to see Jung Nara and Kwak Si yang in another drama together
Fair judgement!
I will watch any future projects from the same screen writer, lawyer!
Brilliant writing, thought provoking cases and dialogues!
One, the mother doesn’t have my full sympathy. Yes, being a divorced woman is hard. The stigma is there. But as a woman, I rather be discriminated than die.
This episode once again is scary. Cause he really wanted to kill his wife(and he did) .
The board meeting was so funny. The other members were right. The president (the father) kept pushing it to gain favors and to show his power but look what happened now?!
The guy is also whack like if they’re your lawyers why the heck did you threaten them too?!
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
