Synopsis: “Sungjin High School is thrust into chaos when an alien invasion begins, with violent insect-like creatures emerging from eggs in the sky. As the invasion spreads worldwide, the South Korean military struggles to keep up. In a desperate move, the President announces mandatory conscription and all third-year high school students, both male and female, must join the armed forces. The students are taken to their school playground to begin their military training, which includes firearms, hand-to-hand combat, and obstacle courses. Platoon leader Lee Chun Ho leads their training, while teacher Park Eun Young works to protect her students. Adapted from the webtoon “Duty After School” by Ha Il Kwon, this drama follows the high schoolers as they fight to save the planet from destruction.”
