Synopsis: Ling Se, an 18-year-old girl, plans to leave her home and live independently. However, she unexpectedly meets Xu Zi Lu, the wealthiest man in the county, who opposes her at every turn and is rumored to be afraid of women. Despite their initial animosity, Xu Zi Lu persuades Ling Se to become his wife. As they travel to Beijing to compete for the emperor’s merchant position, they not only become successful in business but also grow closer to each other.   1. Lighthearted drama but nothing lands. The silly comedy was a total miss, the stunts were as expected, the plot/story/characters woefully abysmal. None of these genre tags quite fit, at best very minimal – business, romance, food. Wish the characters were more likeable, and the comedy/silliness were at least funny.
