  2. You have to shut your brain off if you wanna watch this one, like for real.
    I thought that the parents opposing “kids” marriage and rich guy-poor girl were the bad tropes, but i think the more it goes the more it becomes stupid.Chinese dramas the same.Anime is the same. Disney is the same.
    Like what the hell is going on, are they trying to propagate stupidity? I couldn’t go more than a few minutes in, even with my brain turned off i can’t take this

  4. Honestly a fresh concept/premise, but truly the execution is lacking. It would make more sense if L was familiar w/ the regular world than a fish out of water. It begs the question of why send someone who isn’t familiar? Of course, I already know the answer to that: they want an easy fish out of water comedy.
    Still, I’ll see what the next ep is like before anything. I do feel some chemistry behind the 2 & they do have some charm.

  5. The scene from the very first beginning already giving me an ick. What’s up with the cliche FL keep falling backward for no reason and ML would catch her and they fall in love? Also the age though. Kim Myungsoo cannot pass as 24 years old.. Lee Yuyong could still look 30 but not him. But I don’t get why they casted older actors.. or they could just set the characters as people in their 30s?? Idk it’s only the first ep maybe it’ll get better in ep 2

  9. So the embarrassing scene at the beginning was 7 years ago? When she confessed her feelings to him. And now they meet again. After such scene I will embarrassed even after 7 years.

  10. The female lead look like an old wife, not a match to male the male lead. She’s not funny at all.

    The Forbidden Marriage and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract were VERY funny with good female lead actresses. Genuine hilarious humour: Park Ju Hyun and Lee Se Young.

Even if we pass the fact that there is a place where “time stopped” and people still live a traditional life in a traditional community just so they can protect the country’s heritage, lots of things don’t really make sense! 1) This the ML goes around the country fighting smugglers and restoring/rescuing the countrys artifacts but he doesn’t know how to act and dress around people in “modern” Seoul ?? He doesn’t even seem like he’s familiar with modern life so how did he manage to track down those people ?? 2) if they are actually living the traditional life then why is his “bodyguard” a woman? Doesn’t that goes against everything “traditional”? 3) the ML’s hair style (and his bodyguard) is miles far from being “traditional” ..

    I mean, I get it! This concept is cool and refreshing but the execution was bad!!!

  13. This drama feels so childish to me. I used to like these kind of dramas when I was in my teens, but at my age I find these dramas hard to watch. Still like the different kind of story set-up. Unusual, so i will try to few more episodes. Leaving my personal opinion aside, the drama is alright but still can’t say is it well written or not.

  17. Why are they 24 and 30 when they are 35 and 32 in real life..isn’t it better that way? It’s not a big age gap if they’re both adults but I am kind of Disturbed of the female lead, who is older and basically a teacher figure to ml be really pushy and act like the child.
