  4. that slap that was reserved for Binglan’s mom was gratifying! The wedding was beautiful and my cheeks are hurting from smiling during both episodes today. When she came out with the stick “leave my daughter in law alone! I’ll fight you!” 🥹…. Now the episode I’m waiting for is the one in the ending generic where the empress is sitting on that tree, why? Idk lol, I think it’s because it looks like she can finally be her playful self in peace.

    Even Binglan abandoned that crazy ship. Good for her I guess.

    The buildup of family and friends coming together was a nice touch, and I love how beautiful their wedding was… especially the fun ‘find the bride’ game they kicked off with, every detail was so sweet to watch unfold… I felt like an invited guest, lol 🥰… sigh, after going through so much, they’re finally married!! Yay!

    Then it’s back to business in taking down Sui and his network of schemes… I wonder who’s his shadow man the grand master? Hmmm, got me thinking. That Wen dude is in danger, they better guard their only witness well. I didn’t think ZiYu would get Cui more involved but he’s gonna work with him more by planting him under Sui (to dig up more evidence?).

  6. A really big win for this drama is the well executed wedding scene. And we get 4 whole episodes of life after marriage. It leaves a good taste for me. Really glad they were able to do that. Or it would have been disappointing after seeing so much trials

    finally finally, it seems Binglan has counted her losses and is changing target.
    Her mother’s logic has been so stressful. Right after they realized how much ML loved his new wife who is a princess they should have given up. Because there’s no hope of being main wife or hope of having his heart, that just means misery in that house. But I guess their pride kept them strong
