Y’all, the way the eunuch looked directly at that nasty elder sister when he said to “reduce the number of idle people in the palace” 😭😭😭😭😭… 5 points to ZiYu for literally decreeing her bitchy ass out of Empress’ palace, ahaha! Imagine this witch telling Xueji she was not leaving, who the hell she think she is compared to her sister right now? ZiYu put her in her place without even showing up. And the father too, that slimeball. Xueji, you need to get a little tougher my dear, they will eat you alive at this rate. Also, as a sidenote, ZiYu looks mighty fine in his gold robes, like damn~

2. Failing grade for Team Liang… again 🙃🙃🙃, even with both their heads together they can’t complete one whole brain. Their schemes are so half-assed its embarrassing… how does she keep falling for it? But they messed with the wrong one today 🥷

   And omg, how dare Elder He promise the guild to share Zhen’s technique with them as if he had full rights, even saying he’ll put his useless son leader after all the shit he caused. Not to mention, he literally did nothing to help since then. Not even acknowledging or rewarding Zhen’s amazing effort but instantly planning to seize it for them selves and the other men like them. I seriously can’t stand either of them, and I can’t believe Zhen still gave him the technique just because he praised her wtf?? 🙄🙄🙄 ugh. But she’s smart, I’m sure she’ll invent even better styles under her own name in the future… with her hubby to be, aww 🥰

5. I really wish this MIL of Miantang would get to know her better instead of instilling these nonsensical spouts of yester years. She’s very independent and has goals. She doesn’t sit idly by waiting for her man to come home so she doesn’t need other women to share her husband’s bed. Her own son even mentioned that he disliked his father’s philandering ways and will only have 1 wife. Stop trying to bring Binglan and her mom into the household. He already told you many times he is not interested in Binglan. At least she got one thing right in this episode is Binglan didn’t inherit her beautiful traits and is a frumpy bumpkin. Both mother and daughter really have no good qualities about themselves. There’s no point in crying over spilled milk. She married a man who only kept her as a wife and he’s successful. Instead of setting your sights on Binglan marrying into the Cui family find other prospects and not waste her youth away before she becomes a frumpy old maid.

6. Finally!! The couple managed to set boundaries with the Shi’s. And they did it in a very gracefully savage way, lol!! This is my favorite episode so far and I love their comebacks –

   Empress(while telling her sister to take the painting of the “humble” character): Sister, the Empress wants you to have it. You MUST accept it.
   Emperor(indirectly telling her sister to f*ck off): we must practice thrift and reduce the number of idle people in the palace.

   LMAO🤣🤣!! I love how savage they were, completely destroying them, lol! I also love how gracefully the Emperor declined to marry the Shi sister and praised the Empress when her father was trying to degrade her. Hope he gets over his ex already and get together with the Empress soon!!

   I can see where the conversation between the Mom and Miantang is going, she is trying to convince MT to accept more wives for her husband and I hate her for doing so. Obviously MT will reject it and the Mom will whine again.

9. The audacity of this b/tch of a mother and daughter to covet what they think are theirs when they have no right to begin with lol. Here I thought the consort dowager had somewhat “stole” Cui Xingzhou’s father from Mrs. Lian. To think she still holds a great resentment to her sister for “stealing what is supposed to be hers”.
