  2. another good episode… the cave scene between Mintang and the ML..so intense..but the scene by the waterfall was great…I dont like Ziyu in this episode…I guess he teamed up with the Prince Sui to become Emperor. Now, I wonder if Ziyu knew that the girl Sun tried to kill the FL. Liked the scene between Xinzhou and his sister.

  4. I dont mind the skipped of 3 months. I just wanted to watch the FL and ML. The overthrow is probably the same as the other overthrows with the other drama. I am glad they skipped all that

  5. Finally curtain falls over fake acting of the duo. The slate is clean, feelings still in their heart. Waiting for them write their story again. You jealous Emperor, please, you have no chance. Just keep miss Shi happy. I loved this episode, what a beautiful blend of feelings 😍

  6. Teaser Ep 25— Someone is attacked with an arrow while he was riding a horse. Xing Zhou says ” Fine. Let’s see how the prince plans to bury this hatchet.” Xing Zhou sees from a tower that Mian Tang is leaving the palace/city in a carriage. Zi Yu says ” I thought you would leave with with her” to which Xing Zhou answers ” I will grant her wish. Why stop her??……” Zi Yu gets married to Shi Xue Ji(that means MT has already rejected him). When Zi Yu was going to leave the bridal chamber, Shi Xue Ji asks him “Why me??” Zi Yu says “You had a long day. Are you hungry??”
    Okay I see that they have changes many things from the novel. Atleast that’s what I heard.

  7. lol at how they erased the previous empress dowager and that kid emperor just like that. I haven’t read the original novel yet so I don’t know if their fate is the same as the novel. But it felt like they are nothing but a simple plot need to abandon to move forward to our OG villain. Which is for me, a very poorly written plot.

    And aside from it, there are so many things that the drama didn’t wrap well for the viewers to understand. Plot/sub-plot/plotholes that they didn’t even bother to discuss as if all viewers have read the original novel lol You will know the writers didn’t even bother to do their job right when we are already at Ep 23, but I am still at loss at what is happening with the royal family/court politics lol

    For example, What is Xingzhou’s connection to the previous royal family? What is the background of the Wu family nor what happened why we have a kid emperor? So they died? So what is Xingzhou? A son of the previous emperor or not? Why does Prince Sui said that his father is loyal to the previous emperor? So, he’s not of the royal blood but just a part of nobility. But why does her mother called Consort dowager when that title is only appropriate to an emperor’s consort? So what is he actually? lol …another thing is Liu Miantang. Her background is so blurry too that I got tired of trying to understand her history altogether.

    At this point, I am only watching to follow what will happen to Liu Miantang and Cui Xingzhou’s love line. The rest is a total blur and tiresome to even connect and decipher lol.
