A River Runs Through It (2021)

Synopsis: A transfer student named Xia Xiaoju arrives at her new school just before the gaokao examinations. She quickly makes friends with her classmates, including the kind-hearted Cheng Lang, the blunt Lu Shiyi (played by Wang Ruichang), and the often absent-minded Qiu Letao. Despite a rocky start due to a misunderstanding, Xia Xiaoju adapts to her new environment and tries to make the best of her situation. As the gaokao approaches, the students must face their own challenges and make important decisions. This drama is based on the novel “Yan Lei De Shang You” (眼泪的上游) written by Ming Qian Yu Hou (明前雨后).
