Synopsis: Set in 1998 during the IMF crisis, this drama follows the journeys of several youth whose dreams are shattered. Na Hee Do, a fencing athlete, refuses to give up despite her high school team being disbanded. Baek Yi Jin, from a broken family, works hard to become a reporter. The two first meet at the ages of 22 and 18, and years later at 25 and 21, they fall in love. Go Yoo Rim, also a fencer, is Na Hee Do’s national team rival. However, off the fencing court, she reveals a cute and lovable side. Another character, Moon Ji Woong, strives to become a highlighted user on Cyworld, the top social media network in Korea during that time. Lastly, Ji Seung Wan, a top student, hides a secret desire to rebel. As they navigate their challenges, they find new direction and growth, despite having their dreams taken away.
